When deciding between a certified and experimental aircraft, the two most important considerations are safety and cost of ownership.   The SAFARI has proven itself with a 20 year safety record , and  simplicity and ease of maintenance make the SAFARI the helicopter of choice for the pilot who would rather fly than "fix".

With no belts or chains, the SAFARI offers the security of oil bath gears, chip detectors, and over running sprag clutch. The SAFARI  does not use a proprietary engine, requiring repairs and service available at only a few locations.  Because it is reliably powered by a Lycoming or Superior aircraft engine, the SAFARI can travel the world.
